This is my first look at anything from The Beard Club. So, let’s get right into this: The Beard Club Body & Groin Trimmer Review. This trimmer looks very interesting and promising.

What Is The Beard Club Body & Groin Trimmer?

This is a multipurpose rechargeable trimmer that has two different trimming heads. One is for body and beard hair, and the other is for groin hair trimming.

These trimming heads have a unique design that allows you to pop them on and off easily, and they are held on magnetically. I haven’t seen this design on any other trimmer I have reviewed.

The lithium battery provides two to more hours of usage at a full charge. This is also waterproof with an IPX7 rating. This also comes with four guide combs to dial in the precise length.

Specs

The battery in this trimmer is a Lithium-Ion 1400 mAh battery. Having a 2-plus hour-long run time.

The handle is 5 1/4 inches long, and with the body hair trimmer head attached is 6 1/16 inches long. The width of the Body Hair Trimmer head is 2 1/8 inches wide. The width of the Groin Hair Trimmer head is 1 5/16 inches wide.

How Does It Perform? Is It Worth Getting?

Body Hair Trimmer

I started off using the Body Hair Trimmer Head. I like the extra width of this, as it works very well on larger areas of the body. I really liked it when I trimmed my beard/neck area. This is where I appreciated the extra width.

It made cleaning up around my beard, mouth, and sideburns easy. After using this wide blade, I prefer it to shorter blades. It makes it go much faster and smoother.

After two minutes, the stainless steel did get quite warm to the touch. The trimmer head was also quite loud. I applied some lubricating oil, and things got cooler and less noisy afterward.

This is an excellent body hair trimmer. The guide combs (3) are easy to use and secure and great at helping you attain that perfect hair height.

Groin Hair Trimmer

I always like to use a groin trimmer without any guide combs attached. This makes it easier for me to tell how much protection is built into any groin trimmer. Thankfully, this is great at protecting your skin against nicks and cuts.

I credit the ceramic blade and overall design for the pleasant experience.

Overall

This is a very high-quality, well-designed, multipurpose trimmer. I love the hygiene aspect of having two separate trimmer heads for the different areas of the body. These trimmer heads both performed excellently. Plus, the changeable magnetic heads are pretty cool, solid, and functional.

I love using this trimmer, and I think you would also.

Pros & Cons

Pros

• 2+ hours of battery life from a full charge.
• Very user-friendly design.
• Trimming heads are super quick to change, and it is super easy. Love it! It is an outstanding design.
• Waterproof with an IPX7 rating.
• The charging stand is heavy, and it resists tipping over. I have seen some of these charging bases that are very light and prone to tipping over. This one is solid and avoids tipping over.
• The Groin Trimmer Head is quiet.
• I appreciate the wider Body Hair Trimmer Head width. This makes short work of trimming my neck hair and other areas.
• It has a comfortable handle and feels solid in your hand.
• I had a week and a half of beard growth, and it handled it great. I didn’t slow down and just powered through it in no time.
• Great nick and cut protection. I didn’t nick myself once when trimming my ball hair.
• It has a travel lock where you hold down the Power Button for 5 seconds to prevent accidental turn-ons when storing or traveling. Just hold it for another 5 seconds to turn the travel lock off.
• I love that they offer two trimming heads for better hygiene.
• All of the guide combs attach firmly and stay locked in. Also, they are easy to attach and de-attach.

Cons

• The battery comes dead. You have to charge it before you want to use it.
• The stainless steel Body Trimmer Head gets hot after being used for a couple of minutes.
• The Body Trimmer Head is pretty loud right out of the box. I applied some of the lubricating oil, and it got quieter.
• I don’t see anywhere online where you can purchase replacement heads for this.
• Beard Club states this can be used for back hair. Technically, this is correct but highly impractical as you must have a friend or partner use this on you to reach the whole back. Tips On Using This

The first thing to do is to get this trimmer charged since it comes to you dead upon arrival.

I would also recommend using some lubricating oil (provided) before using it. It will help keep the blade from getting hot by reducing friction and keeping it quieter. At least, this was the case for me. I saw a reduction in heat and noise after lubricating the blades.

This is made to last. I don’t get any sense that this is a cheap trimmer. If you are looking for a multipurpose trimmer, make Beard Club Body & Groin Trimmer yours.
