Performance. Is It Any Good? My Experience

Performance

All of the scents lasted easily 24 hours. I could smell their fragrances, to some varying degrees, the next day. The ingredients do an excellent job of staving off foul odors. So, it does its main job of keeping body odor under control.

The deodorant is easy to apply. This medium-hard deodorant and a stick should last 2 to 3 months with regular use. The product would apply with just 2 or 3 swipes. I love harder deodorants; in case you don’t know, they last so much longer than soft deodorants.

Scent Profiles

I purchased eight scents from Dapper Yankee, and I loved every scent I received. These scents are very pleasing to the nose and make you want to keep smelling them. They are that damn good. This is unusual as I’m not often fond of a few, but they are all great.

Their scents smell very natural and not chemically. I love this and prefer it.

Counter to their amazing scents; I have to address the issue of scent projection as these scents project into your immediate environment. You will smell these scents throughout the day, especially when sweating.

Personally, I prefer skin scent, as I don’t need others to smell what deodorant I am wearing. This was a bummer to me, but thankfully, I didn’t get nose fatigue because I loved the scents so much. The scent projects roughly about about a foot from your body. This is my major gripe with this deodorant.

I would prefer if they dialed back their level of scent projection, as you can constantly smell the deodorant throughout the day.

Overall

If you have a sensitive nose or don’t like smelling your deodorant throughout the day, I recommend you not buy this deodorant.

I love their unique scents, and they smell fantastic, but I don’t want to smell them all day long. If I wanted this, I would wear cologne. I want a pleasant, gentle scent, not a cologne.

If you are not opposed to strong projecting deodorant, then this is an excellent deodorant that should make you very happy.

Dapper Yankee deodorant is a natural deodorant for men. They offer a wide variety of scents to choose from, 14 in total. This is a medium-hard-density deodorant. Their natural formula is safe to use anywhere on your body to help you keep smelling fresh.

Currently, when writing this, Dapper Yankee has 14 scented deodorants to choose from. They, from time to time, have a limited edition scent, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

• Winterland Deodorant – Refreshing winter notes of citrus, blue spruce, and cranberries. Smells like Christmas. I love this scent.
• Wicked Pumpkin Deodorant – A smooth combination of pumpkin spice and bourbon. I didn’t order this scent because I don’t like the smell of booze.
• Arctic Blueberry Deodorant – Delicious Fresh Blueberries. This makes you hungry, smelling it, and activates your salivary glands. It smells very familiar and like a Jolly Rancher.
• Bourbon Legend Deodorant – Woodsy scent with notes of amber, spice, and a hint of bourbon. Another scent I avoid due to the bourbon scent. I like to drink it but not smell like it; it is a personal preference.
• Engine 9 Deodorant – A refreshing take on the barbershop scent. Bergamot, Cool Mint, Amber, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Musk. They nailed this scent; it is on the lighter side but very fresh and unique.
• Game Day Deodorant – An aromatic fragrance for men with notes of Fir, Lemon, Cardamom, Jasmine, Musk, and Vetiver. Sounds great. I wish I had ordered it.
• Glacier Ridge Deodorant – Cool and refreshing notes of Crisp Alaskan Air, Spices, and Musk. This is a very refreshing powdery scent that is very pleasing.
• Humidor Deodorant – Earthy notes of vanilla, patchouli, and sweet pipe tobacco. I didn’t order this one either, as tobacco is oftentimes hit or miss for me, but I have buyer’s remorse on this.
• New Castle Deodorant – Woodsy and refreshing notes of Bergamot, Spiced Musk, Cypress, Sandalwood, Tobacco, and Suede. I love this scent, as the tobacco is muted but present. Expertly blended. Smells like a man.
• Rodeo Man Deodorant – A complex scent with notes of Bay Leaf, Fir Needle, Cedarwood, Bergamot, and Tobacco. I stayed away from this one but regretted it.
• Root Beer Barrel Deodorant – The sweet aroma of Root Beer Candy with a touch of Vanilla Ice Cream.
• Sierra Pine Deodorant – Crisp notes of Fresh-Cut Pine and Bright Lemon. I love pine scents, and this deodorant smells very natural and clean.
• Traveler Deodorant – Notes of Cinnamon, Cardamom, Balsam Fir, Clove, and Vanilla combined with fruity notes of strawberry, pineapple, and green apple; a scent that’s truly out of this world. Masterfully blend with unique scents. A must-buy!!!
• Wild Irish Deodorant – Notes of Lemon Verbena, Jasmine, Iris, Peppermint, and Sandalwood, this amazing scent smells like pure masculinity and sophistication. This smells like Green Irish Tweed from the House of Creed. I am a big fan of this scent and highly approve of their version. It’s a very refined scent.

• They also have limited edition scents.
• Dispensers are of high quality, and the product comes out beautifully.
• They do offer a subscription service at a reduced price.
• Natural-smelling fragrances.

Cons

• Most of their scents are strong and project. This is a personal preference, and I don’t like scents that project into my immediate space.
• It can be considered pricey by some.

How Does This Compare To Other Quality Deodorants

When comparing other deodorants to Yankee’s deodorants, their quality of scents is top-notch and compares to the best. However, this comes down to personal preference when dealing with a deodorant that acts like a cologne.

Feel safe knowing that if you buy this deodorant, the scents rock, and it will protect you from stinking. Remember, too, if you also don’t mind having your deodorant project like a cologne.

I don’t like projecting scents, and it really determines that I will not be buying more of this deodorant in the future.
