Despite this website being mostly dedicated to back shaving I have reviewed and used devices that help extend your reach either for back shaving or shaving other hard-to-reach areas of the body. The point being is I have used them and can speak on their effectiveness and not just point to one specific item for purchase. So if you are looking at how to shave your legs when pregnant and want the best tool for the job I will recommend what I feel will do the best job and list all the razor extenders for which you could decide for yourself as well.

Ladies, let’s get to it.

The Problem Is Mobility

Captain Obvious here, I know. The beauty of pregnancy is growing another life within you and this beauty impedes your mobility once the baby gets past a certain weight and size. Daily tasks and routines become more difficult the further along with pregnancy. Bending over to shave your legs can become difficult or impossible with a regular size leg shaver.

Maintaining hygiene helps boost confidence and mood and shaving your legs can allow you to wear what you want when you want.

What You Need Is A Long Handled Razor Extension

More precisely you need a quality extension razor handle that holds a razor securely in place and is highly adjustable to conform to whatever angle you need it to. All the long handle razors mentioned below will hold a razor very securely and not move unnecessarily when shaving.

You may even find after pregnancy that you prefer to use the longer handle for ease and more comfort. My wife enjoys the ease of less stretching and comfort when I “loaned” her an extension handle to try out and shave her legs with.

Even If You Are Not Limited In Mobility

I asked my wife to give it a whirl with a bunch of these razor extenders and she found out she likes using them very much and actually prefers shaving her legs with them as opposed to using regular size razor for shaving her legs. She is not pregnant but enjoys the lack of bending as well as stretching when using a razor extender.

The Best Long Handled Razors Extensions

1. Smooth Reach Long Razor Extension Handle

My favorite extension handles that I own and have used and are my top recommendation for pregnant women who need help shaving their legs. This is number #1! It works the best out of all the other razor extension handles I have reviewed.

This is very adjustable in length and angle, as the handle extends to various lengths and the top portion bends and holds its shape. Another reason this is a real home run is that it really locks down the razor and provides zero movement when shaving. Plus the razor is easily attachable to the top.

This isn’t the most friendly name for women looking to shave their legs but it does a great job of extending your reach while maintaining razor stability.
