Manscaped Not That Greatest? Wait…What?
Manscaped is not the king! Sorry, it ain’t. Maybe you already know this, I don’t know.
Having owned and reviewed many dedicated ball trimmers I was quickly dispelled of the illusion of marketing hype of the Manscaped 4.0 after buying and also using it. Amazingly, you can see and hear ad after ad telling you how wonderful a product is only to be let down after you use it. This is where this post comes into play finding better products. To be more specific a better ball trimmer without getting nicked or cut.
I own every trimmer listed here and have tested them all.
How Manscaped Failed Me
The only reason I don’t find Manscaped 4.0 a good ball trimmer is that it cuts me down there. Every time I have used it has cut me multiple times. Other than that little but important detail it is a pretty decent hair trimmer. An important note here is it cut me down there with no guide comb attached, just using the trimmer itself barebones. You can essentially just attach the smallest guide comb and trim your pubic hair without any incidents.
You can read more about my experience with the Manscaped here, Manscaped The Lawn Mower 4.0 Review.
So basically, this article is about ball trimmers that won’t cut you and of course, do a great job of trimming hair too.
#1 Meridian Trimmer – Best Dedicated Ball Trimmer
Okay, let’s just start with the best at least in my honest opinion, the Meridian The Trimmer. I just love this trimmer.
This is the best for a multitude of reasons but mainly for the reason it never has cut, nicked, or made me bleed down there. I have used this for over a year now and it just performs its tasks of trimming groin hair and never once nicked my junk down there.
This is such a solid performer too! The motor operates at 6,000 strokes/min. which is more than enough to handle the thickest of hair. The handle is super comfortable and one of the best out there. This also has a wider blade than Manscaped, which is a good thing. As I find it trims more hair off quicker, especially if you use it on other areas of your body and yes, it can be used elsewhere too.
If you want more information on the Meridian Trimmer I wrote a detailed review here, Meridian Trimmer Review – Best Male Pubic Trimmer?

#2 Brio Beardscape Beard Trimmer – Best Overall Body & Beard & Groin Trimmer
This trimmer can do it all from head to toe. This is what I reach for when trimming my beard and cutting my hair. It is a powerful rechargeable trimmer but also can be used when plugged in. The motor at its highest setting is 7,000 rpm/min but it has a total of 5 different also to choose from. Such a quality, well-designed trimmer that has impressed me.
The Micro Adjust Lever is such a great feature too at getting just the right amount of hair to cut off. There are four settings to choose from (1mm, 1.3mm, 1.6mm, and 1.9mm) along with the lever adjustments you also have 4 dual-sided guide combs (1-2mm, 3-6mm, 9-12mm, 15-18mm). The guide combs and Micro-Adjust Lever give you the ultimate amount of settings for any grooming task.
Yes, it also can trim groin hair without a guide comb attached but I would highly recommend using the Micro Adjust Lever at its highest setting which is 1.9. When I use this particular setting it has never cut me. I did use the 1.0 setting and it did nick me a couple of times but I quickly adjusted the lever and never had a problem with nicks afterward.

#3 Philips Norelco OneBlade Face & Body – Best Beard & Groin Trimmer Combo
The Philips Norelco OneBlade Face & Body is another amazing trimmer that is used both for the beard, body, and groin hair. It even has two different blades included for hygiene purposes for example one for the beard and one for the groin area. Along with that, it has multiple guide combs to adjust the length of the hair trimmed for different areas of the body.
The Oneblade uses microblades to trim hair and if you haven’t used this type of device you are missing out. This is the best microblade trimmer out there bar none. There are two blades one on the top and one on the bottom to allow you the option and ease of use when using this. This OneBlade trims so close to the skin that it is almost shaving, it is that close.
This should not be used on the groin area without the use of a guide comb and specifically, the Skin Guard attachment which is the black and green guide comb. It will nick you if you do not use the guide comb mentioned. But this is such an amazing beard and body hair trimmer that it has to make this list. To be completely honest it is a better beard trimmer than a groin trimmer due to having to use the Skin Guard guide comb.

#4 Happy Nuts The Ballber – Solid Groin Trimmer
Another microblade-designed nut trimmer, a solid groin trimmer is what I think of this. With the company name Happy Nuts, they better deliver, right?
This is also a dual-side blade rechargeable trimmer designed to mow down the hair on the old bean bag. The motor runs at 7,000 rpm/min and is also super quiet when turned on. This also has never nick or cut me down below. This also can be used on your beard as well.
